She was killed in Vampirella: death & destruction (Harris) and she returns to life in Vampirella lives! (Harris). The three-issue series features a special die-cut cover for number 1, including a “linen” version, and an unidentified model cover for all three numbers. The otherwise attractive model featured on four of the covers in Vampirella lives! is portrayed with very unappealing facial expressions and in uncomplimentary lighting. Hemorrhage and Mistress Nyx, appearing in Vampirella lives!, would both come back to haunt Vampirella in Vampirella vs. Hemorrhage (Harris) or Vampirella monthly (Harris). A trade paperback and two deluxe hardcovers (one with red foil title, one with gold) with dust jacket featuring the artwork of Amanda Conner was issued four years later (2001) and includes a new story as epilogue.
